The CEO of Feicom deploys in the north

The Program for the construction of municipal housing estates (Pccm) in the Adamaoua, North and Far North Regions is attracting the attention of Philippe Camille Akoa.

After his tour in the South, on August 6, 2021, Philippe Camille Akoa, Director General of the Special Fund for Equipment and Inter-Municipal Intervention, set sail for the Northern Region. On August 11, 2021, it was Ngaoundéré, the capital of the Adamaoua region, which received a visit from the CEO of Feicom. Philippe Camille Akoa was deployed on the construction site of the municipal city of Mbé, where he assessed the progress of the work.

On August 12, 2021, the towns of Lagdo and Poli welcomed Philippe Camille Akoa. In Poli in the North, the top management of Feicom inspected the construction site of the municipal city. This is a building to house 24 T3 type apartments under construction. On August 13, the towns of Guider and Figuil welcomed the delegation led by the CEO. At Guider, it is an architectural gem of the T3 type housing 26 housing units that rises from the ground. The companies in charge of the work are hard at work, in order to respect the specifications.

On August 14, 2021, the Far North was in the spotlight. The boss of Feicom set foot on the construction site of 20 individual housing units of type T4, T3 and T2 in the city of Bogo. According to the managing director, the work on the ground is impressive. The successful contractors show seriousness and professionalism to complete the work on time. In a few months, a completely transformed city of Bogo will emerge.

These projects are carried out within the framework of the municipal housing construction program (Pccm) in collaboration with the land credit of Cameroon whose objectives are to create attractive neighborhoods within the municipalities, where life is good through quality housing. Low cost. The Pccm is part of the operationalization of the National Development Strategy 2020-2030, which calls for a substantial increase in the public housing supply in line with the deficit estimated at over one million units. It is also a question of promoting partnership in the construction of said housing.

On August 16, 2021, Philippe Camille Akoa visited the construction site of the new Kaélé bus station. A project that includes a boarding dock, a building with offices, shops, a block of 10 shops and a 10-room hostel, all protected by a security fence with 2 gatehouses. A work financed to the tune of 255 million FCFA by Feicom. Halfway through this tour, Philippe Camille Akoa informed that “this visit to the municipalities of Lagdo, Bétaré Oya, N’Gaoundéré, Mbé, Poli, Bogo, Guider, Figuil, Touloum provided support and the expertise needed by the municipalities that have benefited from funding under the said program and the companies in charge of their implementation, in order to ensure the delivery of housing by the end of this year 2021  »
